Bear Brook Valley Wedding Photographer - Colleen and Chris’ Winter Wedding

Not many photographers can say they've photographed four weddings within the same family in seven years. I can.

In 2016 it was Alyssa and Jake. In 2020 and 2021 it was Courtney and Neal. And in 2023, I had the privilege of photographing Courtney and Alyssa's youngest sister, Colleen, marry Chris.

Colleen and Chris's wedding at Bear Brook Valley was everything I've come to expect from this family: warm, joyful, and completely infectious. The ceremony had some unintentionally dramatic lighting that I was more than happy to take advantage of, and the reception was exactly as raucous as it should have been.

Getting to watch Chris's family fold seamlessly into the mix was its own reward. That's the thing about photographing multiple weddings in the same family — you stop feeling like a vendor and start feeling like a guest who happens to have a camera.
